Why we need to collect and use personal information
Monk and Partners needs to gather and use certain information about individuals in order to perform our contractual obligations. These can include clients, suppliers, business contacts, employees and other stakeholders.
The information we collect and hold about you
For general instructions Monk and Partners requires basic contact information to undertake and issue a survey. This may include:
- Contact name/s
- Correspondence address
- Contact numbers
- Email address
- Contact details for arranging access
- Supporting information to complete the instruction
- All communications to and from by telephone, post, email or otherwise.
Other services may require different types of information. The information collected is limited to what is required to carry out a specific instruction and will only be processed for that purpose.
Our lawful basis for processing your information
Monk and Partners have three key reasons as our lawful basis for processing personal data:
Consent: We have received clear consent to process your information for marketing purposes in connection with our commercial agency.
Contract: The processing is necessary to undertake an instruction which has been received or to take specific steps before entering into a contract. This applies to instructions we undertake on both residential and commercial arms of Monk and Partners.
Legal obligation: The processing is necessary for Monk and Partners to comply with the law. This relates to limited information used for our accountancy purposes or any other legal purpose we must comply with (such as auditing).
Security and storage of information
The security and storage of your information is very important to us.
The personal information we collect from you is stored on secured servers, protected through a combination of physical and electronic access controls, firewall technology and other security measures. We have put in place measures to guard against unauthorised or unlawful access and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.
