Nearly three years after purchasing the site and following lengthy discussions and consultations with the Dartmoor National Park, Poppy Properties have achieved planning permission for the development of Linhay 21 at Dolbeare Meadow, Ashburton.
The site is situated adjacent to the A38 Devon Expressway and is located equidistant from Plymouth, Exeter and Torbay and offers a prominent new office campus of circa 4 acres to provide up to 68,000 sq ft of new office space.
The scheme will provide seven business units in a range of sizes from 2,500 sq ft to 25,000 with associated car parking.
John Slade of Monk and Partners comments, "This has been a long journey where discussions as to building design, materials, highway and environmental impact have been discussed and we are happy to confirm that the first of the buildings is expected to be on site by mid-summer 2009 for a freehold saale. During planning there have been numerous enquiries and we are hopeful of bringing further interest to solicitors hands in the coming months".
The proposed development will provide attractive buildings in a landscaped environment with quality features including raised floors, comfort cooling, natural stone and timber feature panels, slate roofs, etc. Further information on the development is available from the agents on 01752 255222.
